mom

Today was a mom/daughter day. My mom's been my best friend and mentor, and I've missed spending time with her. We used to talk. A LOT. Being married has definitely changed that. Change is fun and good (in this instance), but I do miss spending time with her. We watched the ANTM finale together-we used to watch every episode together. We also went to Goodwill and Aldi-places we used to frequent quite often. We sipped hot cocoa and chatted on my couch, planning for family Christmas on Sunday. It was lovely, and I hope it happens again soon.

Keeping up good relationships with family is important to me. Something I'd like to keep a priority. Good life-conversations.
